Bible verses for the week of April 13th 2008

Malachi 3:17-18(New Living Translation)

17 "They will be mine," says the LORD Almighty, "in the day when I make up my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him. 18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.

Micah 6:8 (New Living Translation)

8: No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good,
and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

First Presbyterian Church

This historic church building at 196 South C Street was dedicated on Sunday, 30 December 1866. A detailed description of the dedication ceremony was published in the Territorial Enterprise the following Tuesday, 1 January 1867.

The sanctuary is listed #301 on the American Presbyterian and Reformed Historic Sites and is one of only a few public buildings that survived the great fire of October 1875, when over 80% of Virginia City burned to the ground.

Open hours: The First Presbyterian Church would like to welcome all to worship with us every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. There will be Sunday School for children ages 4 to 15 during the worship service.
